This course covers designing database objects that define and retrieve data, extend the functionality of the server, and perform actions.

- Use indexes and partitioning
- Discuss the various objects supported by SQL Server 2005
- Examine the different types of triggers
- Explain the scheduled job execution and alerts produced by the SQL Server Agent
