This course describes the fundamentals of developing databases applications using WebSphere Rational Application Developer (WRAD). The course highlights the development and productivity features of the WRAD interface.

- Summarize and describe database development tools and features provided by the Workbench
- Illustrate how Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) is used to connect to databases
- Demonstrate the views, profilers and wizards available for database development
